Principal Responsibility:

• The Nursing Training Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the in-service program of the Nursing Services Division in accordance with the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Hospital. He / She establishes a system of staff development through orientation of staff nurses and nursing aides, skills training for the improvement of nursing services, leadership and management programs, incidental learning, and other staff development programs.

Position Specifications:

• Must be a BS Nursing graduate
• With Master’s Degree unit
• Must have participated in and passed leadership and management seminars in clinical nursing
• Must have two (2) years of direct patient care in Medical-Surgical and/or area of specialty
• Must have three (3) years of head nursing experience

Qualifications:

• Must be a PRC Board Passer (Nursing Licensure)
• Must have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate/ID
• Intravenous Therapy (IVT) certificate/ID
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate/ID
